How I Was Razed
Bruce Atchison Joined a house church, believing that God led him to an elite

whenever they prayed but he “lost his healing.” No matter how he built up
his faith, nothing happened.
God saved Atchison from this lay minister’s evil influence and led him to
the joy of authentic Christianity. Though this author is almost blind, the
Lord marvelously improved his spiritual sight through the expositional
teaching of John MacArthur, Hank Hanegraaff, R. C. Sproul, Ravi Zacharias,
and many more.
About the Author
Bruce Atchison
Bruce Atchison has always loved telling stories. Since boys at public school called him “blindie” and threw stones at him, he entertained girls at recess with his silly tales.
At a school for the blind, five-hundred miles from home, his imagination
helped him cope with loneliness and cruel supervisors.
Atchison bought a screen reader for his first PC in 1993. It opened up a new
world of writing possibilities. One of these was reviewing electronic music
albums for fan magazines. He also wrote a column on recycling for a
government office newsletter. Beginning in 1996, he wrote freelance articles
for a variety of publications.
Atchison has published two paperbacks. When a Man Loves a Rabbit is the
memoir of his experiences living with bunnies and the amazing things he
learned. Deliverance from Jericho relates what life was like for him in that
government-run institution. How I Was Razed: A Journey from Cultism to
Christianity is his most recent memoir. Virtual Bookworm Publishers will
