Love Life Continues!
Wow, is this author creative! "Life Continues: Facing the Challenges of MS, Menopause, and Midlife with Hope, Courage, and Humor" is a witty, cleverly written memoir by Carmen Ambrosio. Throughout the book, the author interjects lightheartedness and optimism into the serious subject of multiple sclerosis. In fact, she deals with every topic with grace along with a heavy dose of humor.
One mark of a good book is when you actually laugh out loud when reading it.
That I did and so will you! Her perspective on communicating with the body is hilarious! "Bod mail" is an area we all would benefit from paying attention to and the author leads you on a journey of how this process works.
Whether or not you're dealing with any of these subjects, you'll find comic relief in reading Life Continues. Plus, you will discover how turning hardships into appreciating possibilities enables you to celebrate and focus on the positive aspects of your life.
I gave the book as a gift and encouraged m
y friends to pick up a copy which they did. See for yourself what a talented and inspiring writer Ambrosio is. And you'll also notice that her husband is a gem!
I'm already on the lookout for her next book.
As life begins to strike with age, some women take it better than others. "Life Continues: Facing the Challenges of MS, Menopause, and Midlife with Hope, Courage, and Humor" is a memoir from Carmen Ambrosio who started life in the Virgin Islands and faces the full brunt of age in the much less tropical Midwest. "Life Continues" has a simple and powerful message for other aging women, very highly recommended."

The subtitle to Carmen Ambrosio's memoir gravely undersells the book. LIFE CONTINUES is about much more than "Facing the Challenges of MS, Menopause & Midlife with Hope, Courage & Humor." This is not just a book for women struggling with multiple sclerosis and/or menopause and/or who ha
ve reached middle age. LIFE CONTINUES is an entertaining and uplifting inspiration for anyone of any age and gender who wants to face life with hope, courage, etc., etc. It's a great read and you will enjoy it even if you don't feel especially challenged by anything. It's a clever, witty, insightful backwards look across the span of the author's first 50 years that made me want to tell all my f
riends to read LIFE CONTINUES -- at least once. If you're not yet an optimist, after this book you're likely to start seeing all glasses as half-full or better.
